FOR ALL EVENTS AND OUTINGS, PLEASE NOTE:

Due to high interest already being expressed and with number limitations on some visits, it is recommended that you APPLY IMMEDIATELY if you wish to avoid disappointment.

Pick up Points are by the bus stops at:

(1) Wonersh Outside village pharmacy, (2) Bramley Station Road/corner Barton Road (near the old station gates), (3) Bramley Bramley Grange (Horsham Road), (4) Shalford Opposite Shalford Station (by Scouts Hut)

Where travel is by coach it departs from Wonersh at the time stated, or slightly earlier if everyone is there. Please be at your selected pick-up point at least 10 minutes before given departure time. The coach cannot wait for late arrivals.

Allocation: Where applicable, coach seating will be allocated on the date your completed application and cheque/s are received. Once coach capacity has been reached, any subsequent applications will be added to a waiting list and you will be advised if this is the case.

Cancellations: If you have booked a place but are subsequently unable to attend, please contact the outing organiser as soon as possible. If there are members on the waiting list who take priority and can take your place, your payment will be refunded. No refunds are made if your place cannot be re-allocated, in which case you should try and dispose of your ticket privately, keeping the trip organiser informed.

Places are available for members only. If we have over-estimated the demand and the coach capacity is not full then non-members may be invited by application to the trip organiser.

Mobility: Any member who has mobility problems must please always check with the trip organiser that this event is compatible with their capabilities.

Emergencies: It is advisable for all members attending meetings or going on trips to carry an "In Case of Emergency Number" (ICE). This is a telephone number which somebody can contact in the case of an emergency. This number can be entered into your mobile phone under ICE and, should you meet with an accident or be taken ill, that person will be contacted. If you do not carry a mobile phone or your phone has a passcode, you are advised to put the number on a card in your wallet or purse.

  • Wonersh U3A organise outings and walks for the benefit of their members but it is the personal responsibility of each member to satisfy themselves that they are physically capable of attending any such outing or walk. Wonersh U3A, its organisers and leaders cannot take responsibility for or be held liable for any personal accident or injury howsoever sustained by a member attending any outing or walk.
  • The Third Age Trust provide Public Liability cover for all paid up members in respect of third party claims only. Spouses and guests attending who are not paid up members do not benefit from this cover.
  • Buildings that are open to the public carry their own Public Liability Insurance. It is the responsibility of each member to observe and comply with any safety information notices that may be displayed.
  • Where travel is by hired vehicle and to comply with terms of hire and safety regulations, all passengers much remain seated with their seat belts securely fastened for the duration of the journey.
